ブリット・ポップ、ブリット・アート、ブリティッシュ・ファッションに最も勢いのあった1992年。ロンドン・カレッジ・オブ・プリンティングに在学中の2人の学生、ジェファーソン・ハックとランキン・ワデルが折り畳みのポスター形式で始めたこの雑誌は、時に過激なスタイルで、トレンドを追い求める若者達を今日まで刺激し続けている。
「デイズド」の呼び名で知られるロンドン発の「Dazed & Confused」は、創刊以来、ストリートファッションを中心に、アート、音楽、映画などで活躍するアーティスト達やセンセーショナルな話題をいち早く紹介するカルチャー・マガジンだ。
フォトグラファーであるランキンのグラマラスでスタイリッシュなポートレイトと、編集者であるジェファーソンのやや過激なインタビューは、これまでに幾つもの伝説的な記事を生み出した。
